The aim is not to collect disconnected certificates. Build a small number of useful activities, understand your contribution and keep the evidence needed to verify them.
Save certificates, feedback, confirmation emails, project documents and your own role while the activity is fresh. Evidence that is easy to verify is more useful than a last-minute reconstruction.
For audit or QI, start from a defensible standard, measure current practice, make a change and measure again where feasible. Be ready to explain what you personally did and what changed.
A repeatable teaching contribution with learner feedback and visible improvement is usually more meaningful to discuss than a one-off session completed only for an application.
A taster, clinic, theatre list, MDT, project or conversation is useful when you can explain what it taught you about the everyday work and what you still need to test.
Keep the problem, your role, the people involved, the decision you made and the outcome. Titles alone give an interviewer little to explore.
Recruitment frameworks change. Build broadly useful evidence, then map it to the current official person specification and scoring guidance rather than relying on an old points table.

Good setup cannot rescue a weak answer, but poor setup can distract from a good one. The recruiting organisation's instructions override generic advice.
Use the device, browser, headset, camera position and room you expect to use. Test the recruitment platform early if the organiser provides a test route.
Put the camera near eye level, keep your face well lit and remove avoidable visual or audio distractions. You should be able to speak naturally without watching your own thumbnail.
A short prompt sheet can help with key evidence or questions, but reading prepared prose usually makes answers less responsive. Follow the organiser's rules on permitted materials.
Know the published contact route if audio, video or connectivity fails. Keep your phone available if instructed and do not improvise around recruitment rules.
Knowing your example is not the same as delivering it. Practise a clear opening, the important detail, reflection and a concise finish without scripting every sentence.
