Useful groups and what each is for

Join when the organisation gives you learning, representation or a real route into work. Passive membership does not strengthen an application by itself.

Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health

The main College publishes recruitment guidance, Progress+, exams, standards, policy, workforce evidence, QI and patient-safety resources. Medical-student and Foundation membership can provide early-career resources; check current eligibility and fees.

RCPCH Trainee Research Network

Connects regional networks, education and multicentre projects so trainees can learn research through governed collaboration. It is a starting point for finding local infrastructure rather than a promise of authorship.
